We already know that automakers are gearing up to put up a big show at the 2020 Auto Expo, but even auto component makers have pulled their socks up to make the component to show a big success. Over 1500 companies which includes international exhibitors from 20 countries will be participating at the 2020 Auto Component Show and the Auto Component Manufacturers Association (ACMA) is expecting over 1,00,000 visitors this time around.

Commenting on the upcoming Expo, Deepak Jain, President, ACMA said, "This year's theme, 'Technovation: Discover Innovations for Future' has been adopted to steer the industry forward, instil a positive sentiment, showcase the best technological prowess while providing more opportunities for growth. Beside showcasing the traditional components, the expo will give companies an opportunity to highlight their preparedness for future mobility. We are therefore, looking forward to this edition which will be monumental in shaping the future trajectory of the industry by focussing on our collective strength & capabilities."

The rising interest of people in the Auto Component show is because of the new technologies and gadgets that are on display. Products like new AI enabled tech or advanced touchscreen units among others gather quite a few eyeballs and help pushing the auto component business. Currently, the turnover of the Auto Component Industry is around USD 57 billion, contributing 2.3 per cent to India's GDP. It is expected that the auto component sector will contribute around USD 200 billion to the GDP by 2025.
