The new Royal Enfield Bullet 350 with fuel-injection, updated to meet the upcoming Bharat Stage VI (BS6) emission regulations, will be priced at Rs. 1.21 lakh (Ex-showroom) for the kick-start version, and Rs. 1.37 lakh (Ex-showroom) for the electric start version. The new BS6 model of the Royal Enfield Bullet 350, is approximately Rs. 6,000-7,000 more expensive than the corresponding BS4 models of the Bullet 350, and the updated model has already reached certain Royal Enfield dealerships. The BS4 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is not available for sale any more. While Royal Enfield has yet to officially announce the launch of the new Bullet 350, the BS6 model has reached dealerships and deliveries will commence soon.
The Bullet 350 BS6 will be powered by the 346 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine which now meets the BS6 regulations. The engine is the same as the one on the Royal Enfield Classic 350, and is tuned to put out 19.1 bhp of maximum power at 5,250 rpm, and 28 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm. New colours are also expected on the BS6 model to give it fresh appeal. Apart from the fuel-injected engine, there will be no other changes in terms of chassis, suspension and cycle parts.
The frame will continue to be the single downtube chassis, with 35 mm telescopic front forks with 130 mm of travel, and twin, gas-charged shock absorbers with 5-step preload adjustability and 80 mm of travel. Braking will be handled by a 280 mm disc on the front wheel and 153 mm drum on the rear wheel, with single-channel ABS. Kerb weight of the Bullet 350 is expected to be around 195 kg. The RE Bullet 350 is the most-affordable model from Royal Enfield.
